Raipur/Korea: With technical support from UNICEF Chhattisgarh, the Health Department organized a state-level consultation in Raipur to address the rising burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among children. The consultation was chaired by Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Director of Health Services, with a focus on strengthening prevention, early detection, and effective management of childhood conditions such as Type 1 Diabetes, Sickle Cell Disease, and Congenital Heart Disease.
The primary objective of the consultation was to enhance pediatric healthcare services in the state, promote multi-sectoral coordination, and ensure the availability of quality treatment and a robust referral system.
